Delete Your MiraSeed Account

You can permanently delete your MiraSeed account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets removed, and how long it takes.

1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)

The fastest way is to delete your account directly from the MiraSeed app:

  • Open the app and go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account.
  • You will be asked to enter your current password to confirm. This step is required to prevent accidental or unauthorized deletion.
  • After confirmation, your account and data are scheduled for permanent deletion.

2. What gets permanently deleted

When your account is deleted, the following data is removed and cannot be recovered:

  • Your Bible study notes and annotations
  • Your AI commentary history
  • Your account profile (email address, display name)
  • Your subscription metadata (purchase tokens and tier records stored by MiraSeed)
  • Your AI usage and export usage counters
  • Founder records, if applicable

Note about active subscriptions: MiraSeed only stores subscription metadata. The actual subscription is managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Deleting your MiraSeed account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription — if you have an active subscription, please also cancel it in the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to stop future charges.

3. Manual deletion (if you cannot access the app)

If you cannot use the in-app flow — for example, you lost your password or are locked out — you can request manual deletion by email:

  • Send an email from the address associated with your MiraSeed account to hello@miraseed.app.
  • Use the subject line “Delete My Account”.
  • We will verify ownership before processing the request.

4. Timeline

Deletion requests — whether submitted in-app or by email — are processed within 30 days. After processing, your data is permanently removed from our systems and cannot be restored.
